How many and how often will I need the treatments?

 

A series of at least 5 treatments is needed to obtain the best results. Some patients may benefit from more treatments depending on the severity of the condition treated. Don't be fooled by other practices that give only a single "pass" with the machine or only treat "part" of the face with a machine that is not a true IPL machine.

What are the expected results?

Is it safe?

 

IPL is non-invasive and very safe. You can usually return directly to work and apply makeup immediately. You can resume all your activities (except sun exposure) immediately. Very rarely, temporary mild bruising or blistering may occur in the treated areas, which will resolve in a few days.
